Women In Leadership Workshop - Bunbury

In celebration of the Matildas coming to Bunbury, Football West are very excited to partner with Football Australia to deliver a Women In Leadership workshop in Bunbury on Friday 4 July from 5:30pm – 8:00pm at the South West Phoenix Clubrooms.

This initiative is open to all women aged 16+ that are involved in sport as volunteers, coaches, referees, media, players, presidents, committee members, board members and paid employees. The program will bring women together from many areas of football and other sporting codes to share their experiences, examine leadership styles, discuss engaging and influencing stakeholders and learn the value of networking. The program looks to develop an individual’s skills and knowledge, whilst building confidence in women to pursue leadership roles and/or take the next step in their career.

The program is aimed at empowering women involved in sport to have a stronger more positive influence on the sport, as well as providing participants with a professional development opportunity.
